Hours and Fees
Duchess Nursery is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year.
We have a minimum session requirement of 2 full days and cannot guarantee that space will be available should you wish to increase sessions although we will do our best to oblige!
Other Fees
Non-refundable Registration fee £75 and a Refundable Deposit fee £300 (refunded off first invoice) Fully funded spaces do not require deposit or registration fee.
We offer funded childcare for eligible families across all age groups, including the Working Parent Entitlement for children aged 9 months, 2 years, and 3 years (up to 30 hours per week), as well as Universal Funding for 3-year-olds (15 hours per week).
Funding will be applied from the term after your child becomes eligible. Parents must provide a valid funding code, which will be applied to your child's sessions. Once confirmed, the funded hours will be deducted from your invoice.
We claim funding over 38 weeks of the year. However we also offer a stretched funding option, allowing families to spread their funded hours across 50 weeks.

Fees are charged monthly and reviewed annually. Below is the fee structure for 2025/26.
Fees are payable throughout the year including bank holidays and inset days. Funding hours that appear on bank holidays and inset days will be reallocated to the child's booking pattern.

Early Education Government Funding
We offer 15 hour 2 year old funding and 15 hour & 30 Hour for 9months, 2 years and 3-5 year old funding subject to eligibility set by the government.
The 3-5 year old funding is intended to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of high-quality, flexible childcare. This funding does not cover the cost of meals, consumables, additional hours or extra activities. These are optional charges. External clubs are also excluded and are charged optionally.
